homeward bound

I have had an amazing time and haven't had the energy to divert to keeping up this blog. Will be home by Friday and promise a belated update complete with photos. The hotel computer was $6 for 15 minutes of time. This computer is left handed and very difficult for me to navigate.

day two

Arrived, finally, at 7:45 am and realized it didn't matter what you wore, every thing worked.

Attended orientation, met my roomie, we ended sittng together.

Got a commitment for corset lacing, put tee shirt over corset and got it all done.

Running around in casual steam punk with dread locks victorian wig.

There are amazing costumes here, Do not know how to put photos w/posts on this rent-a-computer-for 15-minutes deal, but will add photos later.

Off to my steam punk gun class.

Still day one

In Glendale, typing on a left handed computer with some key labels missing. Annie's sister's house not completely remodeled. She forgot to tell Annie to bring an air mattress. Marti and Annie are improvising. I go to the convention tomorrow am. Don't know if I should wear semi costume influenced clothes or regular stuff. I've never been to cc before.

day one

It's 8:30 am in Santa Cruz and Annie walking dog two in preparation for the long drive to LA. I have my stuff behind the back seats, Annie's stuff is between the back and front seats. The poodles will have the back seats. They will be seat-belted in.

It's foggy enough down here for the sidewalks to be wet. I have the dog that has been walked chained to my wrist so he won't pee in the house.

We will arrive in Glendale this evening. then I will go on to Woodland Hills the following am. to check in.
